DIAL IN YOUR TERRAIN RATIOFRONT-SIDE / BACK-SIDE (piste vs off-piste) YOU DON’T KNOW UNTIL YOU GOUnless you believe the snow reports (mostly bogus) – you really don’t know what conditions await when you get to the hill. Skiing different terrain in mixed conditions adds new dimensions to your SNODAY. Having the right tools delivers you a memorable experience each and every day regardless of what you come up against. Start by selecting your preferred terrain ratio of front-side skiing (groomers) to back-side skiing (off-piste). Once identified you are able to better dial in the SNODAY ski that will complement the majority of your outings. I have fashioned profiles that will perform in all-conditions. The bigger the number in the terrain ratio the more the ski is suited for those conditions. For instance – if you are a skier that loves carving the front-side on those early morning groomers but by mid-day you are crud busting the bumps and glades - then the REUNION would be a great profile to consider. The OFF-PISTE models are wider and provide more float for softer conditions, and still don’t compromise responsiveness and carving the big lines.
